How do I do LED makeup mirror pre-shipment inspection?

Our five-point pre-shipment check is easy to hand to your inspector:
- Power on each sampled unit and run every mode: on/off, brightness levels, and color temperature modes (warm to cool white light).
- Place several units side by side and compare light color. Different batches of LED chips can differ slightly.
- Check moving parts, such as the rotating shaft and stand on a double-sided tabletop mirror, and look for scratches on the mirror surface.
- Test the power: the 5V USB cable on tabletop and portable models, and charging on models with a built-in lithium battery.
- Compare the carton, labels and certification marks against the approved sample and the destination market.
What are the MOQ and lead time for LED makeup mirrors before inspection?
Tianci Hongye's MOQ for custom LED makeup mirrors is 100 pieces, and in-stock models can ship at any time. Lead time has two tiers: about 7 days for samples and about 20 days for bulk production.
The final date depends on your order quantity and style, so we confirm it when the order is placed. Plan the inspection around those two tiers. Sample approval fits into the roughly 7-day tier. The pre-shipment check belongs at the end of the roughly 20-day bulk window, before the balance is paid. Agree the inspection date when you confirm the order, not after production finishes.

Which certifications should I check on LED makeup mirrors?
Tianci Hongye's LED makeup mirrors have obtained or comply with CE, RoHS, ETL, VDE, TÜV, UL, SAA, FCC and EPA standards, depending on the model and market. Our factory is ISO 9001 certified, and test reports can ship with the goods.
Match the mark to your destination: ETL or UL for North America, CE for the EU, SAA for Australia. Confirm which marks your specific model carries before ordering. A common mistake is to treat a certificate as proof that every shipped unit is fine. A certificate covers the tested model. It does not replace checking your own batch, so keep the unit-by-unit function check and ask for the test report together with the goods.
On the production side, we run SMT high-speed placement (machine-mounted LED and circuit components), reflow soldering, automatic impact aging tests, and integrating sphere optical testing. The integrating sphere is an instrument that measures total light output and color of a light source. Ask for the test records of your batch if you want to verify the light color.
When is this inspection approach not suitable?
Tianci Hongye does not recommend this route for custom orders below the 100-piece MOQ, or for tabletop and portable LED makeup mirrors installed in showers or other humid areas.
Our tabletop and portable mirrors run on 5V USB or a built-in lithium battery, and their specifications carry no waterproof (IP) rating. Do not mount them in a shower zone or in long-term high-humidity spaces. For wet rooms, choose the bathroom mirror series with defogging, such as bathroom mirror TCYSJ-A, TCYSJ-B or TCYSJ-C. Check the bathroom model in your inspection too, including the defogging function.
If you plan ODM models, check design ownership first. We hold multiple Chinese and international patents on mirror structure, optics and electronics, so confirm the patent status of any model before you list it in your market. Single-origin buyers can ignore the Vietnam option, since our China plus Vietnam supply chain only matters when tariff or delivery time is a concern.
What should I confirm before placing an LED makeup mirror order?
